ARLINGTON, TX, July 30, 2010 – The Bowling Proprietors’ Association of America (BPAA) today announced the 2011 Mid-Winter Bowling Summit was moving to the Red Rock Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The move provides an opportunity for proprietors, manufacturers, suppliers and even pro bowlers to participate in industry events – from the strategic conference to the PBA Tournament of Champions.

The January 19 – 22, 2011 BPAA strategic mid-winter conference promises to deliver a wealth of business-building ideas to bowling center proprietors, managers and industry leaders. For 2011, conference attendees can also attend major PBA events on the same property – the PBA Tournament of Champions and the PBA Hall of Fame dinner on January 22nd.

The “new-look Summit” has a host of benefits:

  • A special negotiated Red Rock Resort rate of $130. This featured price includes the $25 resort fee, shuttle service to/from the airport and the resort, shuttle to/from the strip, complementary Internet in every room, free parking & valet, access into the fitness center and spa, and more!
  • A special discount with American Airlines. Go to www.AA.com to book your flights. Use the code “3611AI” to receive a 5% discount below the posted price.
  • A chance to WIN A FREE DOMESTIC ROUND TRIP TICKET ON AMERICAN AIRLINES! All Summit attendees who book their Summit flights on AA.com using the code above will be entered into a drawing for a free ticket to a domestic location of their choice. (One winner will be chosen at random. Some restrictions may apply.)
  • Mid-Winter Conference includes revenue-generating seminars, “how-to” business sessions, valuable peer networking, hands-on training and exciting group events.
  • PLUS – Bonus PBA Venues!
    • Summit attendees can purchase discounted tickets to attend the live ABC telecast of PBA Tournament of Champions. Tickets are $40 (discounted from $60).
    • Summit attendees can attend the PBA Hall of Fame dinner at a discounted price of $100 (versus public price of $150).

“The move to Red Rock and the date change makes infinite sense for the BPAA and the industry in a show of partnership and solidarity,” said Steve Johnson, BPAA Executive Director. “Bowling industry leaders are encouraged to mark their calendars and to plan on attending this momentous industry-wide event to kick-off an outstanding and successful 2011.”
