Just in case you thought this year’s World Series of Bowling wouldn’t be interesting enough, it just got a huge dose of attention from Howard Stern’s hefty audience.
That’s right. Scott Salem, known to Stern’s 6 million-plus listeners on SIRIUS Satellite Radio as “Scott the Engineer” and an avid 215-plus average league bowler, has just accepted an invitation to compete in this year’s World Series of Bowling at South Point in Las Vegas October 24-November 6.
Stern announced that Salem would be bowling in the tournament on his Thursday, September 9 broadcast and discussed his employee’s participation for an extended period of time during the show. Of course, if you’re familiar with Stern’s show, you can be sure that there was plenty of trash talking and bets to go around.
Stern promised moment-by-moment coverage of Salem’s participation in the event on HowardTV. Maybe he could also bring some of these lovely ladies as well?
