Bowling Factory Outlet is in the business of providing solutions to the bowling industry. And, when it comes to ordering online we have developed a unique process. The Bowling Factory Outlet online store is not only packed with information about the products we sell. It has some special features of being able to handle Pre-Orders for Mechanics and Payment options for a designated purchaser i.e. (Proprietor/Manager). This allows everyone in the bowling center to manage, budget, and control their accounts online.

The Pre-Order System

Since Bowling Factory Outlet’s Shopping Cart was designed by mechanics for mechanic we understood that there needed to be a way of saving orders online and allowing proprietors to approve these orders and then purchase them with a credit card. This is why we customized our software to handle this process for mechanics and proprietors alike.

The Pre-Order system is a way for mechanics to save and manage their shopping lists online. As it was explained in simple terms: It is like you making your shopping list and handing it off to someone else to go to the store. They then purchase the items and bring them back in this case (ship) the items for you to use.

The Pre Order Lists are managed in the “My Account” area of the shopping cart you can save multiple lists and refer back to them from time to time if you are unsure of what you have ordered in the past. It is a simple as saving a file with a new file name. So if a mechanic wanted label their pre-order lists by the month and year they ordered they could look back over the history of their orders.

Add To Cart

As with all shopping carts online, Bowling Factory Outlet still has the add to cart process for those proprietors are also the mechanic, manager, snack bar attendant, and pro shop operator. We know that this is the case in many small bowling centers and have given the option of being able to go through the store yourself and purchase directly without having to email your order to someone else.

You can also manage your maintenance costs right from the “My Account” area of the Bowling Factory Outlet shopping cart. This will come in handy during tax season being able to print all of your past invoices letting your accountant know how much you spent on parts or any other items or products you purchased from Bowling Factory Outlet.

How to Order Online

Step 1: Finding the Item You Want

At the top of the screen there is a search box. If you are looking for a specific item, you may enter the product number, or product name; full or partial in the search box. If not, there are several categories located on the navigation bar of the home page. These categories have been organized to help find what you are looking for.

Step 2: Learning More About Your Item

Once you have found an item you would like to purchase or would like to see more information on an item, click on the image of the item found. This will bring you to a page that describes the item in full detail.

Step 3: Adding Items to Your Order

Then if you have decided you would like to order/purchase this item click (Add To Pre-Order List) or (Add to Cart) button. Then you repeat Steps 1, 2, or 3 for every item you want to purchase.

Step 4A: (Pre-Order) Review

Once you have completed shopping you can review your order and items. At this point you will be brought to a page that shows your current order. Listing the items have in your order, their costs, the options you have selected and the item(s) quantity. You can also change the quantity of the items in your order by clicking in the box under the “QTY” and changing the number there. That number represents how many item(s) you plan on purchasing. Once you have completed your pre-order lists, you can then email a direct link of this order to whom ever will approve and purchase the order.

Step 4B: (Add To Cart) Review & Special Requests

Once you have completed shopping you can review your order and items. At this point you will be brought to a page that shows your current order. Listing the items have in your order, their costs, the options you have selected and the item(s) quantity.

You can also change the quantity of the items in your order by clicking in the box under the “QTY” and changing the number there. That number represents how many item(s) you plan on purchasing. If you have any special requests you can enter them in a text box located under the items you plan on purchasing.

Step 5: Check Out

Bowling Factory Outlet gives you 2 options during the check out process.

The Payment Option:

This option gives you the ability to pay for your order immediately with a credit card through the secure payment gateways.

The Approval Option:

This option gives you the ability to save your order on our website for approval and payment and allows you to email this order to the appropriate individual for payment with a credit card.

While checking out fill out all the information that is required, the forms will tell you what is required and what is not. After that, confirm your information and payment method then your order will be placed. Don’t worry if there is any information missing, the ordering process will not complete and you will have a chance to correct any mistakes. Once the order has been confirmed with payment you will see a confirmation message and an email receipt will be sent to you for your records. We will also contact you as soon as possible with the shipping information and tracking numbers.

  • My Account - From this page you can view your orders, update your account details and more. Choose an option from the menu on the right or learn more about each option below:
  • View Messages - You can receive and send messages to Bowling Factory Outlet about your order. When a message is sent regarding one of your orders, you will receive an email notification.
  • View Order Status - See the status of every order you've placed at Bowling Factory Outlet, including whether it has been shipped, and if so an optional tracking number.
  • Completed Orders - See all completed orders you've placed at Bowling Factory Outlet. You can also print invoices from this page.
  • Return Requests - View any outstanding return requests you've made for products you ordered from Bowling Factory Outlet.
  • Your Address Book - Add, edit and remove shipping and billing destinations from your address book.
  • Pre-Order Lists - Add, edit and remove Pre-Order lists, see items in your Pre-Order lists and optionally add each item to your shopping cart for purchase.
  • Your Account Details - Update your contact details, email address and/or change your password.
  • Your Recent Items - See a list of items you've recently viewed at Bowling Factory Outlet.
